Not investment advice
Nothing on bitterquant.ai constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument. The strategies described are a research project; the site describes how they work and publishes their track record, and does not invite anyone to invest capital with us or to have us manage capital on their behalf. Any decision to use a third-party copy-trading or brokerage platform, and how much capital to allocate there, is made independently by the individual and is their sole responsibility.
No licensed financial service
We are not a licensed investment firm, financial advisor, or asset manager, and hold no BaFin (or equivalent foreign regulator) licence. We do not take discretionary control of client funds and do not operate managed accounts. Where a strategy is made available for copy-trading via a third-party platform (for example eToro), that platform is the regulated entity, operates under its own licence, and its own terms and risk disclosures apply to any account held there.
Backtested and hypothetical performance
Most performance figures on this site are backtested / hypothetical: simulated results computed after the fact (typically over 2022–2024), not the result of actual trading with real capital during that period, and shown with wide confidence intervals. Hypothetical performance has well-known limitations — it cannot fully reflect the impact of live market conditions such as slippage, liquidity, or the psychological pressure of real losses, and it can be shaped, deliberately or not, by hindsight. Where a page marks a figure as live or live-expected, that distinction is stated explicitly next to the number.
Past and hypothetical performance is no guarantee of future results. Every strategy can lose money, including all of the capital allocated to it. Nothing on this site should be read as a promise or expectation of any particular return.
Risk of loss
Trading and investing in financial instruments carries risk, including the risk of total loss of the capital allocated. The strategies described here trade individual equities and can carry concentration, drawdown, and volatility materially different from a broad market index. Only allocate capital you can afford to lose, and make an independent assessment — or seek independent, qualified advice — before doing so.
Availability
This site is published from Germany and is informational in nature; it is not directed at, and does not solicit, residents of any jurisdiction where its content would be unlawful, or where the underlying platforms are unavailable. Access to any third-party platform referenced here is subject to that platform's own eligibility rules.
No warranty of accuracy
We take care in preparing the figures and descriptions on this site, but we make no warranty as to their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, and accept no liability for decisions made in reliance on them, to the extent permitted by law.
