What we don't do
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, embeds no third-party trackers or fonts, and has no forms, accounts, or newsletter sign-up. The only interactive parts of the site (the backtest charts and trade tables on strategy pages) run entirely in your browser against data files served from this same domain — no data about your use of them is sent to us or to any third party.
Hosting
The site is served as static files via a cloud content-delivery network. We have not enabled server-side access logging for this site, so we do not retain a record of individual page requests, IP addresses, or user agents. Your device's IP address is used transiently by our hosting provider's network to route the request and response — this is a basic requirement of how the internet works, not a record we collect or can access. Our hosting provider may process this transient, technical data outside the EU/EEA; its standard data processing terms and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply to any such processing.
Contacting us
The email link in the footer opens your own email client; nothing is sent to us until you send that email yourself. Any personal data you include (your address, name, and message content) is processed only to handle your enquiry, under Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR, and is not shared with third parties or used for any other purpose.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us at mail@bitterquant.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for Germany/NRW, the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW).
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if what the site does changes — for example if analytics, a newsletter, or an account system is added in future.
