We give the model a name and a version number — so you always know exactly what is driving your money, and can watch it improve release by release, the way you track an AI model on a leaderboard.

How we name and version it

Botanical bitters

Models are named after the bitter botanicals behind every amaro. The model in production is Centaurium — a fixed public name that never shifts mid-version, so “Centaurium” always means one lineage.

1.0 → 1.1 → 2.0

Retrains and recalibrations bump the minor version; a ground-up rebuild bumps the major. Every release is a dated entry on the model card.

A new name for a new brain

A fundamentally different model earns a new botanical — never a silent swap under the same one.

Centaurium is named for a real bitter tonic herb — a lesser cousin of gentian, the iconic bitter root under every great amaro.

Strategies inherit the scheme — each is named after a classic bitter cocktail and versioned as a pairing of a trading policy with a model version, so “Old Pal 1.1” means one exact policy on one exact Centaurium — reproducible forever, with its own frozen track record. See how we name strategies →
